On 05 February 2020, Pro-Turkey rebel factions, which operate under Operation peace Spring, shelled regime positions in the area of Abu Rasin and the road connecting Abu Rasin and Tal Tamer in Al-Hasakeh. Shelling resulted in the killing and wounding of an unknown number of regime fighters. Unknown fatalities coded as 10. Several shells hit a Russian forces vehicle that was part of a Russian patrol that was passing through the area.
