An Army soldier, Assistant Lance Daffadar Waqar Ali (32), was killed on October 23 during an exchange of fire with terrorists from Afghanistan, in Hassan Khel Sector of North Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reports Geo News. The Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement "terrorists from inside Afghanistan across the international border opened fire on a military post in Hassan Khel Sector, North Waziristan District". Assistant Lance Daffadar Waqar Ali was a resident of Chota Lahore in Swabi District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
