On October 22, 2022, six Security Force (SF) personnel were killed and four others, including an officer Akhter Jan, injured when Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) targeted an Army convoy at Zarghoon Ghat area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, reports Hakkal Media. While claiming responsibility of the attack, BLA ‘spokesperson’ Jeeyand Baloch said SFs convoy consisting of ten military vehicles was targeted by BLA’s special force Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS). At least two enemy vehicles were destroyed. BLA will continue to target occupying forces until the full withdrawal of enemy forces and liberation of Baloch motherland, said Jeeyand Baloch.
