Meanwhile, an ‘area commander’ of the, Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP), a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), and an alleged informer of the same organisation were arrested from Latehar District of Jharkhand on October 20, reports The Print. The Police recovered bullets and a magazine of INSAS (Indian Small Arms System) assault rifle from the ‘area commander’, Latehar, Superintendent of Police (SP), Anjani Anjan said.
