During anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] operation, the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) 203 Battalion recovered a huge quantity of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) bombs, hand grenades, arms and ammunition including other material of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) from Thalia and Jhandi Mundi Pahad adjoining Budha Pahad in Garhwa District of Jharkhand on October 18, reports prabhatkhabar.com. The items recovered by the Police include 22 IEDs, seven Very High Frequency (VHF) sets, two VHF manuals, 12 batteries, 36 hand grenades, 160 meters of cable wire, nine IED series mechanisms, and 26 detonators. There is a material for cooking and daily use including four kilos of chemicals.
