At least eight Taliban fighters were killed and six others injured in the battle against National Resistance Front (NRF) Forces in the Tagab village in Mianshahr neighborhood in Varsaj District in Takhar Province on October 23, reports Hasht-E Subh. The gunfighting broke out when a group of NRF forces accidentally encountered a number of Taliban fighters while patrolling the area. The Taliban in Takhar have not yet said anything about the clash.
