On 18 October 2022, Turkish army drones carried out an airstrike targeting a vehicle belonging to Ezidxane Asayish forces in Sehidan neighborhood of Sinjar town in Ninewa province. One Ezidxane Asayish fighter and one PKK militant inside the car were killed in the attack and another Ezidxane Asayish fighter was injured. Both the injured and killed militants were also affiliated with YBS. The strike also injured 2 civilians.
