During earthworks in Trzebinia (Malopolska) an unexploded bomb was found. More than 120 people, including 78 children, were evacuated from nearby buildings, including the kindergarten. Sappers are going there. On Thursday morning, the services were informed that an unexploded ordnance had been found in the ground. The missile was discovered at Kosciuszko Street in Trzebinia (Malopolska) by workers carrying out earthworks related to the sewage system. The unexploded case was found at kindergarten number 1 in TrzebiniaTrzebinia commune Fire brigade: evacuation of a kindergarten and two tenement houses The spokesman for the Malopolska fire brigade, Hubert Cieply, informed journalists that over 120 people were evacuated due to the discovery of the unexploded bomb, including 78 children and 30 kindergarten workers, as well as 17 residents of two nearby tenement houses. According to the firefighter, the bullet found is about a meter long and most likely from the Second World War. The place where the missile is discovered is secured by firefighters and policemen. Sappers are going to protect the unexploded bomb. Mayor: The kids are safe The mayor of Trzebinia, Jaroslaw Okoczuk, informed that children from the local government kindergarten number 1 are safe. They can already be picked up by parents. The children are now safe and cared for in the Trzebinia Cultural Center in the Sokól cinema said Okoczuk.
