Warwickshire Police were called to the building site at around midday Warwickshire Police have asked people to avoid the Banbury Road area of Stratford after a suspected unexploded bomb was found on a building site today. Disposal experts are currently at the scene. A cordon and road closures have been put in place. People have been asked to avoid the A422 Banbury Road towards Ettington as a result of the discovery. In a statement, police said: "Officers are currently in attendance at a building site on Banbury Road, Stratford, following reports of items found believed to be historic unexploded ordnance. A cordon and road closures are currently in place. "Officers remain in attendance at a building site on Banbury Road, Stratford, following reports of items located earlier today. A team from the Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) are also onsite."
