At least 10 people, including children, lost their lives and 16 others were injured in a mine explosion in Hawo Abdi area of Lower Shabelle region.The explosion hit a truck carrying vegetables heading towards Mogadishu, according to witnesses. The dead and injured in the explosion were taken to Medina Hospital in Mogadishu and the Water Wells Hospital, where their relatives are searching for them.The road connecting Mogadishu and Afgoye is the most common place for explosions on public transport. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion, but most of the afgoye and Mogadishu road is targeted by Alshabab vehicles targeting government vehicles.
