Separately, a mobile phone tower, belonging to Ufone Company, was blown up by Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres in Sheikhri area of Kalat District on October 16, reports The Nation. The mobile tower was totally destroyed in the explosion. BLA ‘spokesperson’ Jeeyand Baloch while claiming the responsibility of the blast said that the tower was being used to collect intelligence data about Baloch freedom fighters. It was attacked in past too, but had been reconstructed with support of Security Forces.
