On 11 October 2022, a suspected IS explosive device detonated injuring 3 members of the Popular Mobilization Forces in an unspecified location near the Iraqi-Syrian border in Anbar province. The blast occurred during a demining mission. Iraq-Syria border area coded as Al Qaim district, Anbar. There were no fatalities.
