On 12 October 2022, an explosive device left behind by suspected IS militants detonated injuring 6 members of the 12th Brigade (Harakat Hezbollah Al Nujaba) of the Popular Mobilization Forces in the Albu Zabar area of At Tarmiyah district, Baghdad. The blast occurred during a search-and-destroy operation. 1 PMF figher died of his injuries on 14 October. 5 injured and 1 fatality in total.
