On 3 February 2020, pro-Houthi forces reportedly shelled anti-Houthi Giants forces in Kilo 16 area to the east of Hodeidah Red Sea port city and the Salh Complex in its north (Al-Hali, Hodeidah) with no report of fatalities nor injuries. Anti-Houthi Giants forces reportedly shelled the pro-Houthi firing positions behind the College of Engineering in return.
