One Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadre was injured in an encounter that broke out between the Police and the Maoists in the forests of Chilkapally and Tadmetla under Awapalli Police Station limits in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh on September 27 afternoon, reports naidunia.com. The injured Maoist has been identified as Muchaki Bhima, a member of the Rayuguda ‘militia’ (people’s army of the Maoists). During search the Police recovered, gelatin, cordex wire and other Maoist daily use material from the encounter spot.
