On 17 September 2022, NAF bombed a hideout of a Zamfara militia leader, Bello Turji at Fakai in Shinkafi LGA (Zamfara). Turji and some of his loyalists escaped, many militiamen were wounded and unspecified number of others were killed. Unknown fatalities coded as 3.
