The Ukrainian military have shot down Russia’s Su-25 assault aircraft in the Kherson region. The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. Around 08:00 a.m., September 19, 2022, the air defense missile unit of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Su-25 assault aircraft of the Russian occupation troops,” the report states. A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and September 19, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 54,650 troops.
