Grenade event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khyber District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area, Pakistan on Fri 16th September 2022

Three terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire with the personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) during a raid near Afghan border in Khyber District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 16, reports ARY News. The CTD officials said that the alleged terrorists were planning a major terror bid after entering into Khyber District. The terrorists opened fire on the CTD team during a search and clearance operation. The exchange of fire continued for a long time and later three terrorists were killed. CTD recovered arms, two grenades, three bandoliers and dozens of cartridges from the possession of the slain terrorists. Some accomplices of the terrorists fled from the scene towards the Afghan border.
