On September 16, two Improvised Explosive Device (IED) bombs of 30 kilograms each suspected to be belonging to the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), were recovered by the Police from Basbonwa Forest near Nagi village under Vishnugarh Police Station limits in Hazaribagh District of Jharkhand, reports prabhatkhabar.com. Acting on information about hiding an IED bomb in Basbonwa Forest area, Hazaribagh, Superintendent of Police (SP), Manoj Ratan Chothe formed a team and launched a search operation in the forest. The team recovered two IED bombs of 30 kilograms each and was later defused in the forest by the Bomb Detection Disposal Squad (BDDS) team of Jharkhand Jaguar. There was a plan to block the road by blowing up the Dhordhorwa Bridge with the IED bomb hidden in the Basbonwa Forest, but the Police foiled the plot.
