Taliban’s deputy general military commander for Panjshir, Mawlavi Haroon, killed during clashes with the National Resistance Front (NRF) forces in the Umaraz area of Khinj District of Panjshir Province on September 14, reports Hasht-e Subh. Mawlavi Haroon was the deputy to Mullah Abdul Qayyum Zakir, the general military officer of the Taliban for Panjshir and the Andrab. He was one of the prominent commanders of the Taliban and so far, the Taliban have not yet confirmed the claims of his death.
