On 8 September 2022, Russian warplanes conducted airstrikes on the vicinity of Hafasraja town and the outskirts of Sheikh Yousef town in Idleb countryside, killing 7 people, and injuring fifteen others including children, amid shelling the area with cluster bombs as well. Fatalities split between the two locations Hafasraja 4, Sheikh Yousef 3.
