On 11 September 2022, Turkish army forces carried out airstrikes against PKK militants in Sehid Fedakar area (Kurdish name) in Sida (Seedan) region of Al Amadiya district, Duhok, in conjunction with Turkish army shelling in the same area. HPG (PKK) claimed that Turkish forces used bombs containing poisonous gas during the shelling, but this was not confirmed by other sources. Casualties unknown.
