On 3 September 2022, in an area between Padilla and Guachene municipalities (coded to Padilla, Cauca), a bridge was detonated with an explosive device by unknown perpetrators between the Llano de Taula and Tetillo sectors. Since there is a conflict over land invasions between indigenous groups and Afro-Colombian groups in the area, the latter blame members of the indigenous communities for the event, but they claim that they have nothing to do with it and ask to not be stigmatized. Authorities are investigating the authorship. There were no casualties.
