A senior Levies official, Risaldar Mohammad Hamza, was killed while another personnel sustained injuries in an attack by Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) cadres in the Mangochar area of Kalat District in Balochistan in the night of July 17, reports Dawn. Officials said Risaldar Mohammad Hamza along with other personnel was on patrolling duty in the Johan crossing area of Mangochar when BLA cadres riding a motorcycle opened fire on their official vehicle. BLA claimed responsibility for the attack.Meanwhile, the ‘spokesperson’ of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Qazi Rehan, said that the Army claimed to have killed nine people associated with the pro-liberation organization in Ziarat area of Balochistan on July 15, which turned out to be a lie, reports Radio Zrumbesh. Five persons of assassinated were identified as forcedly disappeared person those had been whisked away by Army in different times. All of them were in torture cells of Pakistan. The Army took them out of the torture cells and killed them in fake encounter. The spokesperson said that Shams Satakzai was abducted five years ago, Shahzad, son of Khudabakhsh Dehwar, resident of Kalat was whisked away on June 4, 2022, Engineer Zaheer Ahmed was abducted on October 7, 2021, Salim, son of Karim Baksh, a resident of Balgatar, on April 18, 2022 and Dr. Mukhtiar Ahmed, son of Abdul Hai, resident of Naal Khuzdar, was forcibly disappeared by the Army from the Polytechnic College in Quetta Sariab Road on June 11, 2022.
