During a Joint anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] Operation, the Special Operations Group (SOG), the District Voluntary Force (DVF) and District Police recovered a cache of arms and ammunition belonging to Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) from a Maoist camp near Tilaki village under Baliguda Police Station limits in Kandhamal District of Odisha on July 17, reports UNI. On July 17, during the course of operation while the team was combing the area under Baliguda Police Station, it found a Maoist camp near Tilaki village. Security Forces (SFs) recovered a number of items of the Maoists including medicines, wires, axe, and other incriminating articles, said Kandhamal, Superintendent of Police (SP), Vinit Agrawal.
