On 16 July 2022, in Canasgordas municipality (Antioquia), Gulf Clan members detonated an explosive device at a police checkpoint on the Medellin - Uraba highway in the Imantago sector. One police officer and one civilian man were killed by the blast. Between three and four officers were also injured and taken to the hospital. 2 fatalities.
