On 17 July 2022, in Natogyi township (Myingyan district, Mandalay region), the Natogyi PDF attacked a military vehicle carrying 10 soldiers with mines on the Natogyi-Myingyan road at around 10 pm, killing 2 military soldiers. The other source, Khit Thit Media, reported five military soldiers were killed.
