Around 18 July 2022 (between 17 - 19 July), an IED planted by an unidentified group on a military vehicle belonging to a member of the Giants Brigade forces exploded in Al Khawkhah city (Taizz). There were no fatalities. This was the first of two such incidents in Al Khawkhah in a week.
