On 19 July 2022, in Pa Wut Kone village (Palaw township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of Palaw People's Defence Force and unidentified local defense forces carried out two mine attacks against Myanmar military soldiers who were moving from Min Htein village to Pa Wut Kone village. The attack was part of the 'Nan Htike Aung' operation. Five military soldiers were killed and at least five were injured.
