On 22 July 2022, in Patheingyi township (Mandalay district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the Generation Z Power (Mandalay) and the Patheingyi PDF carried out two mine attacks against a Dyna car carrying military soldiers and Electrical Power Corporation (EPC) staff near the U Hla Tun Foundation on Kan Lel street at around 8:55 am. A military solider and two EPC staff were injured. A monk who was near the explosion also sustained critical injuries. Among six sources, only Myanmar Pressphoto Agency reported that a monk died from injuries. Fatalities coded as 0.
