On the morning of August 1, the enemy again shelled the Saltivka district of Kharkiv, injuring two men aged 30 and 72. Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports. "Unfortunately, the latter died in hospital,” he wrote. According to Syniehubov, one of the projectiles hit an area near the public transport stop and in the yard of an apartment building, damaging vehicles. At night, the Russians hit Merefa. A 42-year-old security guard was injured, the building of an industrial facility of civil infrastructure was damaged. Over the day, the Russian forces shelled the Izium, Bohodukhiv and Chuhuiv districts. Unfortunately, a 54-year-old man died in the Bohodukhiv district.
