The Guardia Civil carried out a controlled explosion of a Civil-War-era artillery shell, found next to a road in the municipality of Lujar. The bomb-disposal branch of the Guardia Civil, the Edex, identified the projectile as a 110 mm artillery shell containing three kilos of high explosives with an intact fuse in place, meaning that it was over 70 years old.
