Around 10 August 2022, a National Guard of Ukraine soldier shot down a Russian Su-25 assault aircraft attempting to attack Zaporizhia with a 9K38 Igla missile launcher in Zaporizhia area of operation (coded to Zaporizhia, Zaporizhia region). The aircraft exploded, its falling on the temporarily occupied territory is confirmed. Casualties unknown.
