A terrorist and one soldier were killed as troops foiled an infiltration bid in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on July 8, reports Daily Excelsior. Army soldier, identified as Jasvir Singh of 6th JAK Rifle, who was injured in the exchange of fire succumbed to his injuries. One AK-47, four pistols, three AK-47 magazines, three pistol magazines, five hand grenades and ammunition were recovered from the spot.
