On 8 July 2022, in Ye-U township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the military dropped bombs and fired gunshots with 4 aircraft on three villages, including Me Oe, In Ma Htoe, and Wet Thay Pay Gyi villages at around 10 am, forcing villagers to flee from their villages. Casualties unknown.
