On 6 July 2022, Turkish army helicopters carried out airstrikes against PKK militants in Gire Hakkari area in Al Amadiya district of Duhok, in conjunction with artillery shelling conducted by land forces. Casualties unknown. Airstrikes and shelling in the area continued between 5-6 July. One event for each date (total 2 events) coded.
