On 4 July 2022, in Natogyi town (Natogyi township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), the Natogyi PDF fired artillery rounds at the City Hall and the Ministry of Construction Office where military soldiers were stationed in at around 7:30 pm. The attack followed after the military's raid of the Natogyi PDF on the previous day. Three military soldiers were killed.
