On 3 July 2022, in Mongmit township (Mongmit district, Shan-North state), two bombs exploded near government offices in Myo Thit village at around 10:30 pm and injured two military soldiers who were providing security to the government offices. The military tightened security after the incident. No group claimed responsibility.
