On 3 July 2022, in Bant Bway Ywar Ma village (coded as Bant Bway) (Yinmarbin township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), eleven combined resistance groups launched 40mm and 60mm artillery shells against military soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee stationed in the village for an hour at around 5 pm. At least ten military soldiers were injured. Eleven resistance groups included Kani People's Defense Force - KLG, Alpha Special Force, Spring Guerrilla Platoon, Yoma Fighter PDF-Yinmarbin, B21 Kani - PDF, Yadanarbon Revolution Force, Yinmarbin District Battalion 3 PDF, Daung Luth Linn - Local People's Defense Force, Byatta Brothers Group, Lieutenant Moke Seik Group and Dragon Brothers Task Force.
