On 3 July 2022, in Kha Chee Myaung (upper) village of Minbya township (coded as Minbya) (Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), a 25-year-old man was hit and seriously injured by a landmine explosion while on his way to the fields. His left leg was amputated and was being treated at Minbya People's Hospital.
