On 3 July 2022, near Kaing village (Myingyan township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), six combined resistance forces carried out a drone attack against six military soldiers returning from the military's farewell ceremony in Yan Ta Po village along the Irrawaddy River while they were disembarking from the motorboat. Four military soldiers were killed. Six combined forces included the CDSOM Drone Team, Young Fighters People's Defence Force of Myaung, Shwe-Ao Revolution Force, Myingyan Ranger, Chaung U Revolution Army Unit 2 and People's Defense Force - Taloke.
