On 3 July 2022, a Turkish drone targeted a Syrian regime State Security-QSD joint checkpoint with a strike near the railway in the center of Tall Refaat city in Aleppo governorate, injuring two Syrian regime forces members. An earlier Turkish dorne attack targeted a regime forces checkpoint on the outskirts of Tall Refaat after which regime forces managed to shut down the drone. There were no fatalities.
