On 2 July 2022, between Chaung-U town and Ngar Shan village (coded as Ngar Shan) (Chaung-U township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), 12 combined resistance forces carried out a drone attack against military soldiers while eating and drinking in the palm grove at around 4 pm. The CDSOM claimed that at least 12 military soldiers were killed. 12 resistance groups included CDSOM Drone Team, CDSOM BSK, CDSOM 012, Young Fighters People's Defence Force of Myaung (YFPDF), Shwe-Ao Revolution Force, Chaung U Middle Wolves Army (CMWA), People's Defense Force - Chaung-U, Black Eagle Defense Force-MMU, Myinmu Civil Revolution Force, People's Defense Force - Monywa, Chaung U Revolution Army (CRA) Unit 2 and People's Defense Force - Taloke.
