On 2 July 2022, in Yedashe Lay village (Yedashe township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the combined forces of Northern Thandaung Defense Force, People's Defense Force - Nay Pyi Taw Battalion 801 (NPT 8001) and Yedashe PDF 2 attacked three military soldiers with mines. All three soldiers were killed.
