Three persons were killed and four injured in two different incidents in North and South Waziristan tribal Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on June 23, reports The Express Tribune. Police said, a mortar shell exploded inside a scrap shop in main Wana Bazaar in South Waziristan, as a result the shop owner was killed on the spot and five children sustained injuries. They were rushed to the nearby hospital where one child succumbed to his injuries. “This man had bought a scrap mortar shell and was busy trying to break it when it suddenly exploded, killing him on the spot and injuring five of his child servants,” said a police official, adding that one child died at the hospital while condition of others is stated to be critical.
