Separately, Border Security Force (BSF) on June 27 foiled an infiltration attempt and gunned down an intruder along the International Border (IB) in RS Pura sector of Jammu District, reports Daily Excelsior. An alert team of the BSF observed movement of intruder at forward village of Baquarpur in RS Pura sector in wee hours of this morning and challenged him. The intruder was asked to surrender but he kept on running towards the Indian Territory prompting security personnel to open firing leading to his killing. Nothing significant was, however, recovered from his possession.
