A Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) hideout in the Mundamaska Reserve Forest area has been neutralised during a combing operation in Kalahandi District of Odisha on June 25, and arms and ammunition have been seized, reports The Times of India. Superintendent of Police (SP), Abhilash G said, 22 live ammunition and several arms including two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and detonators have been recovered. Operations were intensified as Police suspected the presence of senior Maoist leaders in the area.
