Three cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), including one ‘militia commander’ surrendered before the Dantewada Police on June 23, reports The Pioneer. The surrendered Maoists were identified as Ramesh Kumar Kashyap alias Ramesh Mao, Baisu Mandavi and Devaram Mandavi. Kashyap was the ‘militia commander’ in the Handwada Area Committee carrying a bounty of INR 100,000. Baisu Mandavi was a member in the same committee and Devaram Mandavi was a militia member in the Malanger Area Committee, said Dantewada Superintendent of Police (SP), Siddharth Tiwari.
