Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres killed a disabled tribal, identified as Lucky Kumar Oksa (38), in Malampudur village under Bhamragarh Taluka (administrative division) in Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra on June 22, reports The Times of India. Lucky Kumar was a resident of Bhusewada village and a manager at a tendu leave collection centre. Maoists dragged him out of his house in the night, took him to a nearby forest and killed him with a sharp weapon, said Superintendent of Police (SP), Ankit Goyal. “There is no clarity about the motive of the murder. This year, Maoists have killed several people without any motive for their action,” he added.
