On 4 June 2022, an IED planted by Unknown armed group exploded on a vehicle in Dorat Al-Imam east of Al Abbarah district 20 km northeast of Diyala. The explosion resulted in the injury of 3 civilians including a woman and 2 policemen. There were no fatalities.
